The Rollyview rockpile is on private property that is a working ranch. There are large animals on the property and several ponds. Please do not bring family pets. Items that you should bring include, appropriate outerwear for the weather, gloves, appropriate shoes (fully enclosed), a water spray bottle (for wetting rocks), water to drink and a picking pail or bag. There will be some knowledgeable club members out there that will be able to help you identify or judge the quality of your pick. There will be an outdoor port-a potty on site.
For those not familiar with this rockpile, Darcy acquired several large lot collections from the USA several years ago. Enough to fill one or two Semi Trailers. The majority of the material is rough rock that was acquired in Idaho, Oregon and other regions. Items that have been found include: jasper (many different colours), Gary green, Bloodstone, Jasp-agate blends, Montana agate, Brazilian agate, Botswana agate, Fire agate, obsidian (sheen many shades and colours, mahogany, lace), graveyard point plume agate, cady mountain agate, green moss agate, petrified wood (carbonised, agatised and opalised), arizona petrified wood, wonderstone, picture jasper, picture sandstone, rhodonite, fossils (dinosaur bone, shells, corals, and palm), tiger eye, thundereggs and geodes.

The Next intersection is crossroads at Range Road 232, Turn Left and head North the first property access on the right side is the Rolly View Rock Pile Farm. Surrounded by Elk Fencing (Tall) Drive through the gates and continue up the hill until you see the house.
